In 2020, Sidney and some of the Wanderbus crew had an epic sandcastle build (I will see if I can find a video). Some of the children who were there had the idea to celebrate him with a Sidney Sandcastle Build redux (which will maybe become an annual tradition?!).

In mid-September 2024, a hardy crew walked together down to Lucy Vincent Beach and five sculptures were created by teams of all ages. Betsy presented the special Sidney "Copa" to the winning team. (See other video) Technically two teams tied for first place, and the children said they would bring the "Copa" to display with the Wanderbus (which they first traveled in as kindergarteners) for the Celebration of Sidney on October 13th, 5pm 2024 at the Ag Hall, West Tisbury, MA.
